Horrible! Famous Hollywood celebrities you didn't know who are rape survivors

There are many cases of rape which are registered every day. It was estimated that around 250,987 victims of sexual assault/rape suffer in the United States every year.

Now, it may come as a shock to you that many celebrities have suffered this misfortune of being included in this statistic.

These celebrities later decided to speak about their experiences to help other victims of rape so that they can move on with their lives.

Following are the celebrities who are the rape survivors.

Oprah Winfrey

The famous media mogul Oprah Winfrey was raped by a relative when she was just 9 years old.

Lady Gaga

A few years back, famous pop singer Lady Gaga revealed to radio host Howard Stern that she had been raped by a record producer who was twenty years her senior when she was 19 years old.

The lovely Ashley Judd faced many sexual assaults in the industry. She once discussed being raped in her memoir "All That Is Bitter and Sweet." She is an actor etymologist, spokesperson, television producer and political activist.

In 1989, the famous Musician Fiona Apple was raped near her family's apartment. She was only 12 years old at the time.
