The Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) clearance for INX media was created by Karthik. According to CBI, Karti is accused of taking Rs 3.5 crore from Mumbai-based INX media when his father was Union Finance Minister. “Karti used his influence to manipulate a tax probe against INX Media in a case of violation of FIPB conditions to receive investment from Mauritius," CBI said.
