Chinese tech giant OnePlus is all set to unveil its next flagship device, OnePlus 3 on 14 June in a virtual launch event. The company has introduced an Android app called The Loop, which is now available on Google Play Store.

The virtual event will begin at 10pm IST. The company has also announced to sell the OnePlus 3 directly from The Loop for the first two hours and described it as the "world's first global VR shopping experience." The smartphone will go on sale via official site of the company, from 12:30 am on 15 June.

The company also announced that it has ditched its traditional invite-only procedure. Now, customers can directly purchase the OnePlus 3 via direct sale.

Co-founder of the company Carl Pei said that they are going to kill the invite-only process permanently and will not introduce it for any device in the future. Users will now not have to wait for weeks to get the invite to place an order for the OnePlus smartphone.
