Apple, this is what we do NOT want to see in the upcoming iPhone 7

Well, now that the media invites have started rolling out for Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus launch, rumour mills will finally come to a halt in terms of what Apple has to offer. The media invite simply reads - "See you on the 7th".

This will be the fifth year in a row when Apple has scheduled the event in early September to announce the launch of new products. The event is taking place at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco on Wednesday, 7 September, at 10am local time.

By now you might have got an idea about what the upcoming iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus could sport, thanks to all the photo leaks and rumours. Just to refresh your memory, Apple is removing the headphone jack. Also, the Home button on the iPhone might see a huge makeover. It might not be clickable but may sport the Forced Touch functionality to offer haptic feedback, similar to trackpad of the new MacBook.

The upcoming iPhones might be powered by Apple's A10 chipset paired with 2GB of RAM on iPhone 7, and 3GB of RAM on the iPhone 7 Plus. The new models are also expected to be more water-resistant and may also sport dual-camera systems.

Just to see things from a different perspective, here's a list of all the things that we are bored to see in the iPhones. Apple, are you listening?

1) Design: Apple must come up with something brilliant with respect to design in the upcoming iPhones. This would mark a major shift in the design of the iPhones, that has not seen any major change in design and built. The iPhone 6, iPhone 6Plus, iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus have not witnessed any design upgrade. It's high time that Apple starts experimenting and comes up with spectacular.

2) Colours: Aren't we all just bored with all the classic Black, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold variants of the iPhone? Apple should pep things up a little and come up with some striking colour variants of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. My favourite would be blue. Yours?

Hint - Apple invite is full of colourful bubbles which could mean that it might finally launch more colour variants of the upcoming iPhone.

3) Size: The world wants to move to smaller smartphones that can be easily managed. Wouldn't it be just great if Apple launches the upcoming iPhones with smaller than usual screens.

4) Curved iPhone: No. The world is not yet ready to come to terms with the curved smartphone screens, just like the rival Samsung has to offer. It might be a good idea to come up with curved iPhones in 2017, but not in 2016. That would not be a great idea.

5) A better chip: Apple may use the A10 chip in the upcoming iPhones which would make them more powerful and efficient.

We have just over a week before Apple unwraps its latest offering.
