Tubelight: Kabir Khan recreates Kashmir in Mumbai for Salman Khan!

Kabir Khan's Tubelight is in its last leg of shooting as the makers are set to commence the final schedule of the film from January 8 at Film-City in Mumbai.

Kabir had initially planned a short schedule of the film in Kashmir in November,. However, due to political turbulances in the state, the shoot could not be arranged. Kabir has now chosen to recreate a part of Kashmir within the Mumbai city. Sources reveal that although political situation is now under control in Kashmir and the unit can very well shoot there, Salman has no time to travel out of the city. The superstar is tied up with the last leg of his TV show, Bigg Boss. Even though he could have travelled to Kashmir over the weekend, he wasn't too willing to do that.

Kabir has an army base camp in place on the set mounted at the suburban film studio and the shooting will go on for about a month. Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Mohammed Zeshaan are expected to be a part of this schedule amongst other actors.

In Tubelight, Salman Khan essays the character of a simple minded guy who is slow to register the happenings around him. The film is set against the backdrop of the Sino-Indian war and Chinese actress Zhu Zhu plays a pivotal role in the film.

The movie is Khan's is scheduled to be the big Eid 2017 release.
