‘Rehearsal karke aaya karo’: When Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan were scolded by this actress on film set
Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan have done only eight films together now. But their Jodi has always been appreciated by their fans even when they made a guest appearance in films. However, the tales of their cold war are known to everyone but fortunately, it got ended when SRK and Salman hugged each other in political leader Baba Siddique’s iftar party in 2013. Since then, their fans waiting to see them together on the silver screen too.
However, they fulfilled the wish of their fans when Bhaijaan invited Shah Rukh Khan on the sets of his tv show, Bigg Boss. During the show, the Khans recounted the time when they both were scolded by their co-actress on the sets of their hit film, Karan Arjun.
Well if you are thinking it’s Kajol then sorry you are wrong, it’s Mamta Kulkarni.
Yes, you read it right! Salman and SRK spilled the beans about the incident that when the actress gave them an earful for not rehearsing their dance steps properly for Bhangra Paa Le song.
The clip of the Bigg Boss went viral on social media.
In the video, SRK is seen saying that perhaps Mamta was the only one who Salman Khan and him. While talking about the funny incident, Shah Rukh said that both of them were dancing behind Mamta in one sequence, however, the director said ‘okay’ but it was Mamta who didn’t satisfy with the performance of both actors.
Here’s what SRK revealed:
“Unko laga humari step badi kharab hai. Unka theek tha, humne gaana kharab kar diya. Main aur Salman khade the, Mamta ji ne humko aisa kiya. Pehle toh Salman aur maine dono ne udhar dekha...humko thodi na bol rahi hogi waise,”Shah Rukh said.
When they turned towards Mamta, they realized that she was saying to them. After calling them, the actress scolded SRK and Salman and said, “‘Dekho, rehearsal karke aaya karo kyunki main step theek kar rahi hoon aur tum log bohot kharab kar rahe ho.” (Look, please come on the set after rehearsing because I am doing the step right but you are doing a terrible job).
They were left shocked for what Mamta said to them as they were thinking in their heads that they were dancing like ‘Michael Jackson and Prabhudeva’.
“Hum itne khush ho gaye the lekin badi beizzati kharab ho gayi uske baad. Phir humne cheating ki, hum raat ko jaage roz subah 5 baje tak utni hi rehearsal karte the jitni shooting hai. Uske baad jab first-time jab humne step kiya, we got it right and she got it wrong,” SRK told.

Karan Arjun film was directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan. The film was about the two sons who came back again to their village after they were reincarnated and took revenge for the father’s death. The movie also starred Mamta Kulkarni, Kajol, and Raakhee in pivotal roles.
