Anurag Basu's next film, Jagga Jasoos, has been in the news since a while, and not for all the right reasons. First, it has been in the making since quite some time. And secondly, the film's lead pair, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, have allegedly called quits on their off-screen relationship.

However, Managing Director of Disney UTV, Siddharth Roy Kapur feels that despite all the delays, the movie is progressing really very well and the team will soon start its overseas schedule.

"Jagga Jasoos is progressing pretty well and we will soon shoot for the film outside India. In my experience, when there's a lot that happens in the course of making a film, it usually turns out to be really good because that shows the efforts gone into. Sometimes, the smoothest journey turns out to be a dud. I don't think the process and the hardships faced while making a film has anything to do with the way the movie will finally turn out."

Kapur also feels that the rough footage of Jagga Jasoos is spectacular and the Anurag Basu directorial will surprise the audience.

"I am really happy with whatever I have seen so far and the rough footage is spectacular. I think Anurag Basu is someone who should be left alone with what he does best," said Kapur.

Initially slated to release along with Akshay Kumar's Housefull 3, the new release date of Jagga Jasoos is yet to be announced.
