Media reports suggest that Ranbir Kapoor's upcoming superhero film, directed by Ayan Mukerji, has been tentatively titled Dragon.
The film is Ayan Mukerji's dream project and the Wake up Sid director has planned a trilogy which will be shot over a period of 10 years. In Dragon, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen portraying India's first mythological superhero who has the power to play with fire.
The actor will have ability to create and throw fire through his hands which makes him completely different from other Indian superheroes - Krrish and G One. The film also stars Alia Bhatt who will be seen as Ranbir Kapoor's love interest in the film.
Ayan has roped in the trainer who works in James Bond movies, Anthony, who will help Ranbir Kapoor attain the ideal superhero look. Speaking about the film to Hindustan Times, Ranbir said, "I think it's a fantasy-based film, a mythological (based) in contemporary times. And it will have a boy who will have some form of superpowers. But right now, it's too early to talk about it."
Dragon is expected to go on floors in February next year. The makers had initially booked Christmas 2016, to release the film. Since the shooting schedule got pushed by six months, it is unlikely that the film will release during Christmas next year, giving Aamir Khan's Dangal a solo release.
