RPSC Recruitment 2020: 918 vacancies released for Assistant Professor post; know how to apply

Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has invited online applications for the post of assistant professor in various colleges of Rajasthan.

Under this recruitment, the positions will be filled for the various subjects Assistant Professors including Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Hindi, Maths, English, History, Geography, Music, Home Science, Urdu, Law, and Punjabi, etc.

A total of 918 vacancies will be filled for RPSC Assistant Professor posts. Interested and eligible candidates are advised to submit their application form from November 9, 2020, and the registration window will be closed on December 8, 2020. So, candidates should submit their application forms before the last date only at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.

RPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2020: Educational Qualification Criteria

A candidate should hold a good academic record with at least 55% marks at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

The candidate should also qualify for the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.

An aspirant should also hold a working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri Script and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in a written exam followed by an interview.
