Padman star Akshay Kumar signed a film with YRF; is it Dhoom 4?
Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and Bollywood's famous production house Yashraj Films have not worked much together. They have mainly worked in few films like Dil To Pagal Hai and Tashan. However, there is a good news for the fans of Padman star as the superstar is all set to collaborate once again with YRF banner.
According to the current reports, Akshay Kumar has said yes to one film under of YRF banner. Now reports are coming out that Chak De India fame director Shimit Amin whose last directed film was Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year with Ranbir Kapoor is all set to direct another film. However, the reports suggest that Aditya Chopra has approached Akshay Kumar for this project.
Some sources told that this project will be a high budget drama and earlier Shimit was planning to cast Ranveer Singh in this film but after seeing the budget the producer suggests Shimit do this film with any superstar. So, one hand Akshay who is busy with many upcoming projects has said yes to the producer but the discussions on dates is still left as Akshay's schedule is very busy these days.

However, many are saying that Akshay's re-entry can give him a big project like Dhoom 4. These days Vijay Krishna Acharya is busy with Thugs of Hindostan and lately, he will start the shooting of the Dhoom 4. Earlier the makers were planning to cast Shah Rukh in Dhoom 4 but as SRK has already said yes to Don 3 so now they are planning to cast another superstar. Bollywood Dabangg Khan already has denied doing Dhoom 4.
