Indian tennis star Leander Paes partnering Spanish great Rafael Nadal bowed out of the Paris Masters after going down in straight sets in their men's doubles opening round match on Tuesday, 3 November.

The Indo-Spanish pair lost 3-6, 4-6 to Dominic Inglot of Great Britain and Sweden's Robert Lindstedt. The experienced British-Swedish combination took just an hour and two minutes to get the better of Paes and Nadal.

The pair were broken twice by Inglot and Lindstedt in the opening set, though they managed to break serve once themselves.

The British-Swedish pair were dominant in the second set, firing 9 aces down the throats of Paes and Nadal. They broke their opponents once, enough to send them into the second round of the tournament.
