J&K Board results for Standard 12 out! Here are the toppers

Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has declared results of Standard 12 on Tuesday, 3 May. And once again, girls outshone boys.

According to reports, girls secured 67 of the 101 top positions in the Board results. Of the 101 toppers, 71 candidates were from private schools, while just 30 candidates were from government schools.

Here's a quick look at the toppers:

Toppers in Science stream:

1st position: 489 marks (97.8 per cent)

Vijay Lakshmi of Brahmrishi Bawra Shanti Vidya Peeth Higher Secondary School, Udhampur

Muskan Bhan of St. Xavier Convent Higher Secondary School, Barnai

2nd position: 486 marks (97.2 per cent)

Prabh Simran Kour of Christ Higher Secondary School, Poonch

3rd position: 485 marks (97 per cent) each

Ayushman Bandral of Vijay Higher Secondary School, Udhampur

Sahil Sharma of Shiksha Niketan Higher Secondary School Jeevan Nagar

Toppers in Home Science stream

1st position: 363 (72.6 per cent)

Iqra Banoo of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Mubarak Mandi

2nd position: 329 (65.8 per cent)

Pragati Jain of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Mubarak Mandi

3rd position: 322 (64.4 per cent)

Pooja Sharma of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Mubarak Mandi

Toppers in Arts stream

1st position: 477 marks (95.8 per cent)

Chetna of Shiksha Niketan Higher Secondary School Jeevan Nagar

2nd position: 476 (95.2 per cent)

Syed Aisha Mushtaq of Global Convent Higher Secondary School, Channi Rama

3rd position: 474 (94.8 per cent) marks

Shriya Aggarwal of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Mubarak Mandi

Topper in Commerce stream

1st position: 484 marks (96.8 per cent)

Chetna of Shiksha Niketan Higher Secondary School Jeevan Nagar

2nd position: 482 (96.4 per cent)

Damandeep Singh of Mother India Higher Secondary School, R.S Pura

3rd position: 479 (95.8 per cent)
