Recently, producer Allu Aravind made an official announcement of his next project Ramayana that will be made in three parts in all Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. According to the latest reports, Ram Charan Teja has rejected the officer of Ramayana and he is not ready to act in mega-budget film Ramayana.

According to the source, neither Ram Charan wants to act in mythological drama Ramayana nor he has time because he is quite busy in the shooting of SS Rajamouli's RRR. He has totally given his time to Rajamouli for the role of a freedom fighter in RRR and he has no time to act in Ramayana. Well, this has been a big setback to the producers who were looking at Ram Charan Teja for the leading role.

Talking about the project Ramayana, the film will be jointly produced by Allu Aravind, Madhu Mantena and Namith Malhotra. It is being told the most expensive films in the history of Telugu cinema that will be bankrolled by Geetha Arts in a collaboration with Prime Focus.

Dangal fame director Nitesh Tiwari and Mon fame director Ravi Udyawar will direct the three installment project Ramayana. Now the makers are looking for some other big names in the Telugu industry for the leading roles in the film series.
