Actor Kalabhavan Shajon, who won acclaim for his role of the antagonist in Mohanlal's Drishyam, will play a part in Shankar's upcoming Enthiran 2.
The mega-budget film, which stars Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, is hurtling towards completion, as shooting for the final schedule in Chennai is scheduled to commence soon.
In a recent interview with a leading daily, Shajon said:
"Shankar Sir is a person who doesn't watch Malayalam films that often. But he watched Drishyam and liked my acting and asked his manager to call me. He appreciated my work and from his words, I felt him as a person who likes Malayalam actors a lot".
He revealed that he had shot for nine days with the Enthiran team. "Nine days of shooting has been completed including my scenes along with Akshay Kumar Sir... Shankar sir introduced me to Rajinikanth when he came down to Chennai to visit the shooting location. He talked to me with utmost love which will always remain an unforgettable moment of my life. The next schedule will start by October and I'm happy that I have few scenes with the Thalaivar," Shajon said.
Produced by Lyca Productions for a whopping budget of Rs 350 crore, the film marks the first collaboration of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar.
The first look of Enthiran 2 is slated to be revealed in November.
