CBSE Paper Leak: SC rejects the plea to re-conduct the Class 10 exam

CBSE paper leak has become the controversial issue because from such prominent board paper has been leaked. The major development has come to light today that Supreme Court has rejected the plea for re-conducting the examination for Class 10 mathematics examination.

Supreme Court has also announced that CBI would not go to look into the matter of paper leak now. Earlier on 3rd April, the news has come that no re-examinations would be conducted for Class 10th Mathematics examination as nothing was found wrong that proves the paper leak occurred.

Previously, CBSE has said that it will conduct the re-test for Class 10th Mathematics paper only in the two states i.e. Delhi and Haryana.

But this latest development for Class X exam students would definitely give them a sigh of relief as no re-exam would be conducted now. As around 17 lakh students career is at risk because of this paper leak.

Due to re-examination, the academic session would also suffer for the students. As per the previous reports, the class 10th examination would be conducted in the month of July and result would announce later. Due to this, candidates promotion to class 11th will also be delayed.

 

Earlier on 2nd April, Delhi Court had asked the CBSE about its plan for conducting the re-examination for class 10th Mathematics exam. The court also gave 10 days to the Board for its decision over the Class X paper leak issue. As students are suffering because of this delay in the examination date. Hence, their career also at risk because after clearing Class 10th, students have to choose the stream for Class 11th, 12th.

Recently, CBSE has already announced the re-examination dates for Class 12th Economics exam due to paper leak which is scheduled to 25 April 2018 across the country.
