‘Apologise unconditionally’ if guilty: Coke Studio sensation Momina Mustehsan's message for Ali Zafar

Pakistani singer-actor Ali Zafar is once again accused by singer Momina Mustehsan who opened up about being sexually harassed. The singer didn't give much details about what she went through but has requested the culprits to respond to women’s ‘#MeToo’ with ‘#ImSorry’. The singer tweeted, "#MeToo needs a response #ImSorry from the offenders. Nothing will change until they acknowledge, take responsibility and make amends."

Momina's says that the issue is not about Ali Zafar but the issue is much serious than that, "This is about the relationship of trust that men take for granted with women. Very often, as we can see, women are violated by the very men they know, trust and often work with," Momina said.

The singer has also demanded that Ali should he should accept his fault and if he is guilty and “apologise unconditionally”.

More women have opened up about sexual harassment allegations against Ali Zafar

Journalist Maham Javaid also accused Ali Zafar, as he tried to kiss her cousin sister many years ago. They forgot the story until Meesha narrated the story of sexual harassment against Ali.

Make-up artist Leena Ghani has also came forward in support of Meesha and revealed that she is not the only victim. She also told how Ali Zafar misbehaved with her in past.

After the allegations against Ali Zafar came to limelight, another Twitter user told that he molested a high school student volunteer during a fundraising event at Washington DC.

On Thursday, Meesha Shafi twetted, “I have been subjected, on more than one occasion, to sexual harassment of a physical nature at the hands of a colleague from my industry: Ali Zafar.”

Pakistani actor-singer Zafar who has acted in several Bollywood movies like Dear Zindagi, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Tere Bin Laden and Chashme Baddoor denied the allegation and wrote, I categorically deny any and all claims of harassment lodged against me by Ms Shafi.”
