Besides, launching many new faces in Bollywood, Salman Khan has also received flak for sabotaging the career of many who tried to stand against him. Even he didn’t forget and forgive easily, and who would know it better than ace singer Arijit Singh.

We all have aware of how the quarrel between Salman and Arijit created a stir across the film industry.

War between Salman and Arijit:

The cold war between two stars began in 2014 when the singer was called on to the stage for felicitation by him during an award show.

After reaching the stage, Arijit said, “Aap logon ne toh sula diya (you put us to sleep)”.

To that, Salman replied, “Aur isme humara koi dosh nahi hai, agar aise gaane bajte rahenge…” and hummed the tune of Arijit’s Tum Hi Ho.

Later, it was revealed that Salman asked the makers of his films i.e. Kick and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo to remove Arijit’s already recorded songs from the album.

However, it was not ended here, the same thing Salman did in his 2016 released film Sultan. Salman once again removed Arijit’s song from the film.

After this, Arijit wrote an emotional Facebook note, “Please do not remove the song that I sang for you in Sultan… I want to retire with at least one song of you keeping in my library. Please do not take away this feeling.”

However, he deleted this post.

Even in 2018, Salman Khan also asked the makers of Welcome To New York to not use Arijit Singh’s song in the film.

Despite makers wanted to keep a song in Arijit’s voice, but Salman rejected his song.

According to Spotboye.com, quoting a source close to the film, said, “Arijit has sung the rough scratch of the track which was to be used in the film. However, Salman was quite miffed and he told the makers, ‘Anyone in the fraternity could croon the track but Arijit.”

Well, we still don’t know whether Salman has buried the hatchet with Arijit Singh or not.
