RRB NTPC result 2016: Look out for Stage 1 exam results soon

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) results 2016 will be declared within the first fortnight of October 2016, announced the Railways Board. This means less than 13 days are left go for the results. The countdown has begun!

Over 92 lakh candidates applied for the RRB NTPC Stage 1 exam, out which 56 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. A total of 18,252 vacancies have been announced by the Railways Recruitment Board for this year.

About 2.7 lakh candidates will clear RRB NTPC Stage 1 exam. According to an official notification, candidates equal to 15 times of 18,252 will be called for the second stage exam. Final selection will be based on merit list.

Meanwhile, aspirants awaiting their RRB NTPC result 2016 have been complaining. With various dates floating around, they are confused about when the results will be declared.

Speaking to Catch, Bihar-based Anil Kumar, who appeared for RRB NTPC exam, said "First, they said the results will be declared in September. Now they are saying the results will be out in October second week. I keep on checking the website, but no details are out."

The RRB NTPC stage one exam was held from 3 March to 5 May 2016. RRB NTPC Results will be published for 21 official RRB zones and regional websites.

Once RRB NTPC results for stage 1 are out, selected candidates will appear for the next stage of exam, i.e., RRB NTPC stage 2 exam, which will be held in November or December 2016.
