Women's WC: Here is all you need to know about 'run-machine' Harmanpreet Kaur

India's middle order batswoman Harmanpreet Kaur has taken social media by storm after her brilliant 171* runs off 115 balls that helped India defeat Australia by 36 runs in the second semifinal of the ongoing ICC Women's World Cup match on 20 July.

An excellent century from the run-machine Kaur has taken social media by surprise. It was Kaur's third ODI century. Twitter flooded with appreciation for women-in-blue

Here is some 'must know' facts about our 28-year-old Punjabi girl:

1- She made her ODI debut in women's world cup at the age of 20 against arch-rival Pakistan in 2009.

2- She was the first Indian cricketer to sign a Big Bash League contract later followed by Smriti Mandhana. Kaur plays for Sydney Thunder.

3- She is also the first Indian cricketer to sign with Surrey Stars in ECB's Kia Super League.

4- Kaur is a die heart fan of Virender Sehwag and Ajinkya Rahane.

5- Kaur is the fifth highest run scorer in women's cricket.
