The first Test match between India and Sri Lanka of three-match series was a draw. The Indian skipper Virat Kohli declared the inning at the score of 352-8, after completing his century on the fifth day of the match. The century was Virat Kohli's 50th International century ( Test-18, ODI-32). When it comes to Indian players, Virat Kohli with his knock surpassed the record of Dilip Vengsarkar (17) in the list of the maximum tons in the Test, yet Kohli is still behind Mohammed Azharuddin (22), Virender Sehwag (23), Sunil Gavaskar (34), Rahul Dravid (36) and Tendulkar (51).
