You might have heard or read that cricketer getting involved in the match-fixing, on-field scandals, and ball tampering. But you might never heard of famous cricketers getting involved in  scandals because cricket is often considered as gentleman's game.

Here are some shocking revelations about cricketers :

1. Shane Warne

There is no better bowler than Shane Warne when it comes to spin bowling and there is also no other cricketer who have gotten themselves in as much controversy as Shane Warne . From harassing a nurse Donna Wright to getting involved with strippers in Melbourne. The list goes on and on. The cricketer has also made headline after kissing his girlfriend openly in the stadium.

 

2. Shahid Afridi

The explosive all-rounder of Pakistan Shahid Afridi was also caught in a Karachi hotel room with young women along with his teammates Hasan Raza and Atiq-uz-Zaman just before leaving for a tournament in Singapore in 2000. However, later the cricketer had said in a statement that those girls have come to take autograph and he was innocent. Not just that but recently a Bigg Boss contestant Arshi Khan had claimed that she had sex with Afridi.

3. Kevin Pietersen

Who can forget English cricketer Kevin Pieterson and his popular girlfriend Vanessa Nimmo ( Playboy model and ‘Big Brother’ contestant)? Though the duo had broken up just after a year of dating each other. But the world was stunned by the shocking revelation of Vanessa, his ex-girl-friend claimed that Kevin was a sex addict and she had even revealed their intimate details.

4. Chris Gayle

Who can forget the gangnam style boy Chris Gayle, who has often attracted the media's attention with his on and off activities. The West Indies boy is often called the party animal and social butterfly when it comes to beautiful woman. Chris Gayle made the headline in media when he was captured getting social with three British women in his Sri Lankan hotel room during the ICC World T20 2012.

5. Herschelle Gibbs

Herschelle Gibbs made the headline in media after his autobiography, ‘To The Point’ was released. In his book, he had written that “I just knew I was going to get a century. Perhaps the girl lying in bed beside me had inspired me. She worked at the hotel, where I had befriended her. I guess she was my lucky charm – she certainly was when it came to my batting. I just wish her powers had extended to my fielding and the Bladdy dropped catch.”

6. West Indies team in 2005

The entire West Indies team made the headline in media after they came under “sex allegations” fire after the Windies team crashed out of the 2005 VB Series. In the series, the team had lost six matches. The sponsor of the team Digicel had gone mad and blasted that the players had “more telephone numbers of women than runs.”
