Team India produced a scintillating permormance in the second T20I to defeat New Zealand by seven wickets, therefore taking a 2-0 lead in the five match series on Sunday.

After Indian bowling attack constricted the Kiwis to a paltry total of 132/5, Indian batsman KL Rahul led the men in blue to the victory with his 11th half century in the shortest format of the game and won the man of the match award.

However, former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar was of the opinion that rather than Rahul a bowler was more deserving of the award. "Player of the match should have been a bowler. #INDvNZ," Manjrekar tweeted following the game.

Indian all rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who was one of the most successful Indian bowler in the match, was quick to ask the name of that bowler. "What is the name of that bowler?? Pls pls mention," Jadeja replied on Manjrekar's tweet.

A lot of fans expected Manjrekar to mention Jadeja’s name, as he was the most economical in the match and also scalped two wickets, but rather than naming him as the deserving candidate he mentioned Jasprit Bumrah’s name in the mix.

"Ha ha...Either you or Bumrah. Bumrah, because he was extremely economical while bowling overs no 3, 10, 18 and 20," Manjrekar wrote in reply to Jadeja's comments.

Manjrekar’s comment, however didn’t go down well with the fans and they began criticising the former for not accepting that Jadeja was the best bowler in the game an soon sparked a meme fest.

The fans underlined the all-rounder’s brilliant performance and credited him for taking two important wickets of Kane Williamson and Colin de Grandhomme.
