This is the first collaboration of Tiger Shroff with filmmaker Karan Johar in his production house Dharma Productions and this is also Punit Malhotra's first film with another actor as he had worked with Imran Khan till now. Punit Malhotra had made films like I Hate Luv Storys and Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, in which one was hit and another one was a flop.

Tiger Shroff, who is one of the busiest actors in the current generation, will start the shooting of the film from next year. The SOTY franchise has always been special for Dharma productions as through its first film Karan Johar launched three actors Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, and Alia Bhatt, the interesting thing is that all three are stars now.

Well, the makers have released the first poster, but it looks like that the makers are still zero in terms of the leading ladies of the film. According to some reports, Karan Johar has decided to cast two actresses in this film, one could be Chunkey Pandey's daughter Ananya Pandey and another one could be Tiger Shroff's rumoured girlfriend Disha Patani.
