Director Luv Ranjan's film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has become the second highest grossing film of the year 2018. Yes, this is true as in its third weekend the film has collected more than 86 crores. With this, the film also has become the second highest grossing film of 2018 by surpassing Akshay Kumar's Padman.

According to the trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film collected 4.66 crores on its 17th day at the box office. That is really amazing and according to his further tweets, the film collected 11.05 crores in its third weekend.

 

The interesting thing is that the film is doing great business despite that there is no big name when it comes to actors, director, even not big budget. The film is doing good just because of its content and music. Now Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has become the first superhit film of the year that has done doubled of its investment.

Films like Pari starring Anushka Sharma, Hate Story 4 starring Urvashi Rautela, Karan Wahi have not even affected the audience to watch this film on the silver screen. The film till now has collected 215 percent profit from the box office. The film directly has connected with the young audience and this is what it is helping to get most of it from the box office.
