Shweta Traipthi all set to join Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika

The Masaan actress Shweta Tripathi is said to soon start shooting for the much talked about Kangana Ranaut starrer – Manikarnika-The Queen Of Jhansi. Manikarnika is the story of Rani Laxmi Bai which is being played by Kangana Ranaut in the film.


Recently, the actress was approached for "ManiKarnika" to play the role of Kashi Bai in the film. It is believed that Shweta liked the role and immediately agreed to be part of this period film. It is her first experience to play such character and she has already started preparing for it.

 As per the sources, "Shweta is all excited to play the part of Kashi Bai in one of the most anticipated film Manikarnika, very soon she will join the cast of the film and will began formal training of it."

Manikarnika is directed by Krish and stars Ankita Lokhande, Nihar Pandya, Atul Kulkarni, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi and others. It is slated to release in April next year.
