Salman Khan likes to make his father, Salim Khan, watch all his films before they release. The film is only released after the actor incorporates the changes his father suggests.

It was on Salim Khan's insistence that Salman Khan and Kabir Khan decided to chop off the song 'Aaj Ki Party' from the closing credits of Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

As Prem Ratan Dhan Payo nears its release, Salman Khan recently arranged a special screening of the highly-anticipated film for Salim Khan.

At an exclusive event for PRDP promotions with Patrika Group, Salman spoke about his father's reaction. "The film left my father teary-eyed and my father does not cry often," he said.

Salim Khan often suggests changes in his son's films. However, for the Sooraj Barjatya film, he did not have much to say. Salman said:

"The only thing my dad told me was 'Sooraj ko bolo ghar pe aaram se so jaye' (ask Sooraj to sleep well)."

Salman Khan considers PRDP to be a very special film. He is hopeful that the audiences will love the film, which also stars Sonam Kapoor and Neil Nitin Mukesh.

In a group interview, Salman said,

"I have a habit of sleeping during the special screenings of my films but this is one such film which I watched from start to finish. It has so many beautiful moments created by Sooraj Barjatya that when the film ends, it makes you a better person.

It will make you think about your family. If there is something wrong within your family, PRDP will make you pick up the phone and sort out the differences. I hope the audiences find it as beautiful as I found it to be."

The movie releases on 12 November 2015.
