Ranbir skips attending IIFA awards

Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Sushant Singh Rajput and others have left for New York to attend the IIFA Awards happening tonight. Ranbir, however, will not be part of the gang.
The actor stayed back to promote his film, Jagga Jasoos. Ranbir will also be travelling to New York tomorrow, not for the event, but to shoot for the second schedule of Sanjay Dutt biopic. In the second schedule, it is said that Raj Kumar Hirani will be focusing on the dark phase of Dutt's life. Anushka will be joining Ranbir in the second schedule as she is playing a journalist in the film.
The film is scheduled to be released in March 2018.
