Ranbir Kapoor who has just won Filmfare award for his performance in Rajkumar Hirani's film Sanju is currently busy in his two ambitious projects Brahmastra and Shamshera. He has completed the shooting of Brahamstra, but he is busy in the shooting of Shamshera where he will be seen playing a dacoit.
Now one interesting development has come out from Shamshera and it is happening for the first time in Ranbir Kapoor's career. Mid-Day quoted a source, "The film revolves around a dacoit tribe that is fighting for its rights and independence from the British Raj. Apart from playing the protagonist, Ranbir might also be seen as the central character's father. He has been shooting for both roles simultaneously. This is the first time in his 12-year-long career so far that Ranbir will play a double role."

#Repost ( @ayan_mukerji ) Rumi. First, he was Rumi. Rumi with long hair. This image is from an early look test for the movie. Rumi said, ‘Love is the bridge between you and everything...’, and that feeling is the foundation we started building the protagonist of this movie on... But then, there was new inspiration, newer thoughts... Dragon became Brahmāstra, we gave Ranbir a haircut, and Rumi became... Shiva. #brahmastra #shivadiaries #memories #creativeprocess #evolving
