After Sultan, Salman Khan has teamed up yet again with Ali Abbas Zafar for Tiger Zinda Hai which is a sequel to 2012 film, Ek Tha Tiger.

The film which is expected to go on floors in March this year will be shot extensively in Abu Dhabi, Italy and Paris among-st other countries. Ali Abbas Zafar revealed on a TV show that Salman Khan was convinced with the idea to make a sequel to Ek Tha Tiger in merely 15 minutes.

The director said,

"The strongest part of Salman Khan is that he is very secure as an actor. He is such a big superstar and over a period of time he has gone through ups and downs in his career. His main priority is the story. He never questions the smaller strokes; he always questions the broader arch. This happened with Sultan, this happened with Tiger Zinda Hai as well. When I went to him with Sultan, I narrated him just 15 minutes of the film following which he got up and said 'I am doing the film'. Same was the case with Tiger Zinda Hai, and that is the trust he shows in his director."

The pre-production of Tiger Zinda Hai is currently in process and YRF has roped in Tom Struthers to design the action of the film. Struthers is best known for Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Inception and The Dark Knight Rises.

Also starring Katrina Kaif in pivotal role, Tiger Zinda Hai is confirmed to hit the big screen during the Christmas 2017 weekend.
