Ishaan Khatter to star in Bharat director Ali Abbas Zafar's next project?
Shahid Kapoor's younger brother Ishaan Khattar has impressed everyone in the industry with the choices of his films in the starting of his career. He made his debut with Majid Majidi's film Beyond The Clouds and the film was highly acclaimed. Later totally opposite to his debut film, Ishaan Khatter worked in Dhadak starring alongside Janhvi Kapoor.
Dhadak was a commercially hit at the box office and finally it made Ishaan Khatter to won the award for Best Actor Male Debut. He is taking all the brave and confident steps in the film industry and he has proved with his last outings that he is total hero material. After Dhadak, Ishaan is totally focusing on his next projects and it's no suspense that the actor has been signed for the next two big films.
According to a report of Bollywood Hungama, Ishaan Khatter has been signed for two biggies and one of them is with Bharat director Ali Abbas Zafar. He will be doing a film for Ali Abbas Zafar, however, that will not be his directorial but a production one.
One close source said “After the success of Bharat Ali Abaas Zafar who has been toying with the idea of turning producer has finally taken the step. He will be producing the film under his own banner that will be launched in the coming months. But Ali will not be directing the film; instead one of his assistants will be at the helm of the project.”
“The said film will be a romantic movie and will see Ishaan sharing screen space with a new girl who is going to be paired opposite him. The makers of the film are in the process of locking the female lead and the same will be announced in the coming few weeks. As for the film itself, the yet untitled venture will be shot extensively in Mumbai.” the source added.
