Here's when Rohit Shetty to announce leading lady of Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi!

Since the release of Simmba, director Rohit Shetty announced his third cop franchise film Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar. With this, the director Rohit Shetty made a cinematic universe of Singham by introducing three cops Bajirao Singham, Sangram Bhalerao aka Simmba, and Veer Sooryavanshi. In the recent past, we have read several reports of the leading lady of Akshay Kumar in Sooryavanshi but nothing was confirmed yet.

Recently there were the reports as well that Katrina Kaif may star opposite Akshay Kumar after a long gap of 10 years but now Katrina rubbished all the reports. Now the rumours of the actress of the film have started again to fire in leading reports. However, director Rohit Shetty has taken charge of announcing the leading lady in his hand only.

 

Recently, the director reached to an award show and here he was asked about the leading lady of the film. The director told that the film will go on floors in May 2019 and it is going to be a long journey before calling it a wrap. Here he also told when the fans will get to know about the leading lady of the film.

BollywoodLife quoted Rohit Shetty while saying, "We will begin shooting for the film in the month of May. It's a long one year's journey before releasing the film. The female lead of the film was not finalised. We will announce the female lead in next 2-3 days"

 

The film will also be made under the banner of Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and it will be a collaboration of Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar are a grand success of Simmba. Reports are also that the film will have the cameos of Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn as Simmba and Singham respectively.
