Hera Pheri 3: Why is Abhishek Bachchan not a part of the film anymore?

Firoz Nadiadwala announced the production of Hera Pheri 3 with the star cast of the film - John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty at a grand event in Mumbai last year.

The film, which went on floors in the first half of 2015, was shot in Mumbai and Dubai and 40 % of the shoot was completed. Later on, producer Firoz Nadiadwala ended up being in a financial crunch which resulted in a constant delay in the shooting schedule.

Following the delay, actor Suniel Shetty reportedly walked out of the film as he was not happy with the unprofessional environment. Post Shetty's exit, even Abhishek Bachchan walked out of the film due to the same reason. In an interview with Catch News, on being asked about Hera Pheri 3, Abhishek said:

"Hera Pheri 3 is not happening anymore. I don't know if the film is shelved or no, but sadly I can't be a part of it anymore."

Abhishek Bachchan will next be seen in Housefull 3 alongside Akshay Kumar and Ritiesh Deshmukh. The movie releases on 3 June 2016.
