One of the finest comedians of Indian cinema, Johnny Lever is celebrating his birthday today. He celebrates his birthday on 14th August and it is special for him to celebrate his birthday just a day before Independence day. Johnny Lever had to struggle a lot to make his career in the industry.

Johnny's real name was Johnny Prakash Rao Janumla and he was born to a poor family that he was thrown out of the school for not paying the fees. He had to face a lot of hurdles before making a big name. His name changed after he worked in Hindustan Lever and people started calling him Johnny Lever.

 

Well, there was a time when Johnny Lever had to go jail for one day and his criminal offence was disrespecting Indian flag. However, the punishment was for seven days but later Johnny Lever apologized and the 7 days sentence term changed into one day. Johnny Lever was accused of disrespecting Indian flag in a private ceremony in 1999.

 

However, there was a time when Johnny Lever faced a lot of personal issues that changed his whole perception of life. He told once that his son was diagnosed with throat tumour and Johnny in sadness put his whole time to praying for him. After 10 days, Johnny brought his son once again to the doctor and he was told that his son is totally fine. Since then Johnny Lever has been a quite religious person.
