Bollywood's one of the popular actors Ajay Devgn is celebrating his 49th birthday today and Ajay Devgn is known for his versatility in films. He has done all kind of films in his career including comedy, drama, action, romance and others. Ajay Devgn who was born to a father Viru Devgn who was actually an action director of Bollywood made his identity as the action star.

The Singham star made his Bollywood debut with the film called Phool Aur Kaante in 1991 and Ajay was awarded as the best debut actor for this film. Till then Ajay Devgn has done several hit films and he even had won national award for films like Zakhm and The Legend of Bhagat Singh. He was honoured with Padmashri in 2016.

Ajay Devgn's real name is Vishal Devgn but he changed his name after his mother told him. When Ajay Devgn entered in the films critics and other actors made fun of him for his darkness and when he was facing the toughest time that time Bollywood's millennium star Amitabh Bachchan gave support to him and told him that he is a 'Dark Horse'. Since then Ajay Devgn is just proving Amitabh's statement about him.

While Ajay Devgn's recently released film Raid did a great collection at the box office and soon the film will enter the 100 crores club, on the other hand, Ajay Devgn is busy in the shooting of his next film with editor Akiv Ali starring alongside Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh. Then he will also start the shooting of his next ambitious film Tanaji.
