Gulab Jamun: Fanney Khan actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan confirms collaboration with husband Abhishek Bachchan for Anurag Kashyap's film

Earlier there were the reports that one of the hit couples of Bollywood, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are soon going to collaborate once again for Anurag Kashyap's next project Gulab Jamun. Now finally, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who is busy in the promotions of her upcoming movie Fanney Khan confirmed his collaboration with her husband.

Anurag Kashyap is going to producer one quirck comedy film Gulab Jamun and for that he approached Bachchan couple, earlier they were not supposed to star in this film but now finally they have agreed to do this fim.

Aishwarya Rai told Mid-Day, “AB [Abhishek] and I have agreed to do Gulab Jamun. I told AB that he needs to decide what he wants to do after Manmarziyan. We had agreed on the idea then. However, it was around the same time that AB decided to take time-out. After the hiatus, he returned with Manmarziyan, which coincidentally is directed by Anurag Kashyap. That's when the chatter around Gulab Jamun began again, and we finally came on board. It is a beautiful script, and we fit the narrative perfectly."

Abhishek Amitabh Bachchan

While talking about their last presence then this couple was last seen in Mani Ratnam's film Raavan (2010) that film narrated the story of Ramayana from the perception of King Raavan. The film tanked at the box office and after that Mani Ratnam decided to not make any film in Hindi.
