Salman Khan's Sultan seems to be a film to watch out for, for multiple reasons. Not only is the actor essaying the character of wrestler Sultan Ali Khan, he will also portray an honest government officer from Haryana, in YRF's upcoming sports drama.

As the latter character, Salman Khan will be depicted as a sincere field officer, working in Haryana Water Corporation. These scenes are currently being shot at Muzaffarnagar.

Khan's character in the film is against corruption and the ill-treatment meted out to the elderly and economically weaker sections of society.

Though the relevance of the sub-plot to Salman Khan's wrestling career has as yet not been revealed, media reports suggest that the scenes will show Salman Khan in his nine-year-retirement phase, after which he makes a comeback as an MMA Fighter.

Though Sultan encapsulates the journey of Salman Khan the wrestler, there seems to be enough emotional content to draw families into the theatres as well.
