Ali Abbas Zafar to direct Salman Khan in Ode To My Father remake?

After Sultan, Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar have teamed up for Tiger Zinda Hai which goes on floors in March 2017.

After Tiger Zinda Hai, the duo might collaborate yet again for a film produced by Atul Agnihotri. According to media reports, Agnihotri has approached Zafar to direct Salman Khan in a remake of Ode To My Father.

While the original was set against the Korean War, the Hindi remake will have India's partition as the backdrop. The movie will go on floors in the second half of 2017 and will hit the big screen sometime in 2018.

What is Ode To My Father about:

Ode To My Father is about how the principal character becomes the de facto head of the family after losing his father in the Korean War, which results in the beginning of a lifelong sense of responsibility to provide for his loved ones.
