Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif to reunite after 9 years for Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi
Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif is the pair the audience would love to watch again and again. The pair first the most successful pair in the 2000s and their chemistry has always been a part of the buzz. They were last seen together in the film Tees Maar Khan, directed by Farah Khan and now reports are that the actress is all set to work with Akshay once again.
According to a report of TOI, A source has confirmed by saying that director Rohit Shetty has signed Katrina Kaif as the leading lady of Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi. Earlier Rohit Shetty has several actresses names in his mind but it was Akshay Kumar who suggested Katrina's name to the director. Akshay wants to do a film with Katrina Kaif since a long time and that's why he asked Rohit Shetty to rop her in Sooryavanshi.
Recently, Katrina Kaif also met Akshay Kumar after the success of Kesari and now reports are that the meeting was actually to discuss Sooryanvanshi. On the other hand, Akshay and Katrina both are lined up with several projects and all the films have lots of expectations.
One hand Akshay Kumar is going to be seen in films like Housefull 4, Good News, Mission Mangal, and Sooryanvanshi. Then, on the other hand, Katrina Kaif has films like Bharat and Tiger Zinda Hai's sequel. Katrina will be seen in the film Bharat alongside Salman Khan that is slated to release on 5th June 2019.
