The distressing story has surfaced the Internet from United States’ Detroit, where a bus driver succumbed to coronavirus infection this week on Wednesday. Earlier, the driver also shared a video in which he was complaining about the woman who was coughing in his bus without even using a mask.

The driver named Jason Hargrove (50) died barely after eleven days when he shared the video on his social media account. In the video, he could be seen ranting against a woman who had coughed several times on the bus without any precautions and preventions.

However, authorities are yet to identify how Jason contracted the virus.

"For us to get through this and get over this, y'all need to take this seriously," he said with an expletive thrown in. ... There are folks dying out here," Hargrove said in the video. He recorded the video on March 24 on the day when the woman passenger coughed on his bus.

As per the reports in CNN, the driver showed the COVID-19 symptoms just four days after his viral video.

His video has garnered millions of views on Twitter.

Jason’s death was announced by Detroit’s Mayor Mike Duggan on Thursday.

Social media also broke down in tears after hearing the news of Hangrove’s death and flooded the micro-blogging sited with several condolences messages.

Earlier on March 17, doctors in Detroit also protested against the lack of protection and were provided masks and gloves thereafter.

After surge in coronavirus cases in US, President Donald Trump asked people to wear mask.

Meanwhile, in the US, 336,851 positive cases for coronavirus have come to light and the death toll climbed at 9,620.
