Today’s Google doodle is special and is made by using special technology; know how

Google with its initiative “Google doodle” marks every day with renowned personalities and special day because of having any special association with the date. Today’s doodle has been created to give tribute to the Geroge Melies. This doodle is very special in itself because Google has created this type of Doodle first time. Google has utilized the technology for creating this doodle. This doodle has been released with VR technology. This is the first Google doodle with 360 degrees VR.

George Melies died on 21 January 1938. He well knew film producer and illusion artist. He initiated the various experiment in filmmaking. His two films A Trip to the Moon and Impossible voice was considered as first science fiction film. Google has shared a two-minute video on George Melies at Google spotlight stories channel on youtube.

 

The 360-degree doodle of George Melies is based on the best film made by him i.e.”back to the moon”. This video runs for 2 minute and ten seconds and this doodle is made with using animation and filmmaking. This Google doodle has been directed by the Google’s artist and the “back to the moon” has been produced by the Google spotlight stories and Nexus studio.

This video depicts the work of George Melies in the very beautiful way he made more than 520 films between 1896 and 1912. These films were made on the genres like trick films, fantasy, comedy, advertisement, satire, costume drama, erotic films, Melodrama etc.
