Christian pastor sentenced to 30-year jail for kidnapping, raping and forcing two minor girls into prostitution

A Christian pastor to sentenced 30-year prison jail by the women’s court in Tamil Nadu’s Cuddalore on Monday.

Pastor along with 15 others have been charged for raping, kidnapping and forcing two minor girls into prostitution in 2014.


A fine of Rs 5 lakh has been imposed by the court on the Church of South India pastor, Aruldoss (60) of Viriddachalam in Cuddalore district, a coastal town 175 km from Chennai.

While nine others have been sent to life imprisonment.

The women’s court judge, T Lingeswaran found 16 of the 17 accused guilty of various charges, including kidnapping, besides those under the POCSO Act.

Reportedly, one of the victims (13) was caught by the Tamilarasi (40), the woman who ran it having intercourse with her paramour, Anandaraj and was forced her to have sex with a paramour and then with her husband as well, HT reported.

The minor had been sexually harassed and it had become a routine. The girl pleaded to be relieved but accused demanded to bring another girl to be set free. On this condition, the minor girl also brought her friend (14) who is also studying in the same school.

Instead of relieving them, the gang sexually assaulted them and forced them to into the sex trade. They have taken the girls to various places, including pilgrimage centre, Velankanni.
