For those who've grown up on a healthy diet of Cartoon Network, The Flintstones were our staple food. We sang the jingle, we enjoyed the histrionics of the stone age, and we yabba-dabba-doooed. And now, it is possible to live in the house that looks like the place where Fred and Wilma created history.

Originally designed by William Nicholson in 1976, the house is now for sale for $4.2 million. Overlooking the Crystal Springs Reservoir, in Hillsborough, California, the house may look like a red-stone bubble-wrap from outside, but the interiors are a strange mix of the old and the new.
It's bare, and basic - reminiscent of that era - but the interiors are swanky, modern and very, very expensive.

The kitchen which was redesigned by Eugene Tsui some time in the 2000s - with glass countertops and swinging wooden cut-out doors - is an absolute delight.

Want to live in this 'modern Stone Age' house? You can have it for $4.2 million. Only!
