UPPSC Paper leak 2018: Commission files FIR against miscreants for spreading PCS mains paper leak news

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has rejected all the news regarding the paper leak of UPPSC PCS (Mains) 2017 Social work question paper on Wednesday. The Commission had also notified that both the papers of Social Work i.e. paper I and paper II would conduct as per the schedule in two shifts that were held on 21st June 2018. However, an FIR has been filed by UPPSC against unidentified persons who spread the fake news.

According to the notification, the Deputy Collectors had given the Social Work paper I and paper II in morning and afternoon shifts respectively.


However, the issue came to light when some screenshots of Social Work question papers were doing the round on social media which was released by a coaching centre and their photos were started circulating on WhatsApp and Facebook.

However, UPPSC had already in controversies for the cancellation of Essay and General Hindi papers. Because of paper cancellation incident, students started querying regarding it from across the state as soon as they came to know about it.
UPPSC, examination controller, Anju Katiyar also said that paper leak post on social media was completely rumours and baseless.

Earlier on 19th June, Commission had cancelled the General Hindi and Essay paper of PCS(Mains) exam just after the question paper of the second session was distributed in the first shift to the examinees at an examination centre in Allahabad. However, due to which students broke out to massive protest and eight people were arrested.
