SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2021: Official notification for Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF to release this week

SSC Constable (GD) 2021: Staff Selection Commission is likely to release the official notification for SSC Constable GD Recruitment 2021 notification on its official website soon.

Therefore, candidates who are waiting to apply for the SSC GD Constable online application form should keep their eyes at ssc.nic.in.


According to media reports, SSC is expected to release the notification this week. Earlier, the Commission was scheduled to release the notification on March 25 but was postponed for an unknown reason.

Later, SSC had released a notification on April 9 and said that the official notification for SSC GD Constable will be published in the first week of May.

“Aspiring candidates for Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination 2021, are hereby informed that Notice of Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination 2021, which was scheduled to be published on 25.3.2021, will now be published in the first week of May 2021,” the official notification reads.

Candidates can apply for the SSC GD Constable post only after the activation of the online registration link.

SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2021: Selection Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), followed by Physical Standard Test (PST), and Medical examination.

As per the previous schedule, SSC is expected to conduct the Constable (GD) CBT exam from August 2 to August 25, 2021.

However, candidates should now wait for the official announcement as the dates might be changed due to the surge in cases of Coronavirus cases in India.
