Indian Navy Recruitment 2021: Over 300 vacancies released for 10th pass; check selection process details

Indian Navy Recruitment 2021: Indian Navy has released an official notification for the post sailors MR on its official website.

Interested and eligible male candidates can submit their application form from July 19. While the last date for the submission of the application form is July 23.


Under this recruitment, the Indian Navy will be enrolled as sailors MR for around 350 vacancies in the October batch of 2021.

Candidates are advised to bring their negative RT-PCR laboratory report of COVID-19 from a Government/ICMR accredited laboratory by candidates at the time of the entrance exam.
Note: (Report should be dated a maximum of 72 hours prior to reporting date).

Sailors for Matric Recruit (MR)

Educational qualifications:

Candidates who want to apply for the post of Indian Navy Sailor post should have passed the matriculation or class 10th examination from the Boards of School Education recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

Indian Navy MR Recruitment 2021: Age limit criteria

Applicants should be born between 01 April 2001 to September 30, 2004 (Both dates inclusive).

Pay Scale and other allowances:

Selected candidates will get a stipend of Rs 14,600 per month during the initial training period. After completion of initial training, candidates will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (Rs 21,700- Rs 69,100). In addition, the selected candidate will get MSP at Rs 5200 per month plus DA (as applicable).

Know selection procedure:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their written exam and PFT. Also, shortlisting of the candidates for the written exam and PFT will be done on the basis of aspirants’ percentage in the class 10th exam.

However, the cut-off marks may vary from state to state as vacancies have been allocated in a state-wise manner.
