IAF Agnipath Recruitment 2022: Online registration to end on July 5; must check eligibility criteria before applying

Indian Air Force Agnipath 2022: Indian Air Force has released an official detailed notification for Indian Air Force Agniveer Recruitment 2022 for Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2022 on its official website. The recruitment notification was released on 24th June 2022 at https://indianairforce.nic.in/agniveer/.

Interested candidates can apply for the vacancies after reading the eligibility criteria required for Agneepath scheme recruitment in Indian Air Force.

As per the official notification, only unmarried male Indian citizens can apply for this opportunity.

The online registration process for IAF Recruitment Agniveer Vayu has been started on June 24, 2022, and the last date for the submission of the online application form is July 5th, 2022.

Candidates who will qualify the exam will be recruited for the duration of 4 years only.

Indian Air Force Agnipath Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification

(a) Science Subjects:

Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English from an Education Board listed as COBSE member with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

OR

Passed Three years of Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course).

OR

Passed Two years of Vocational Course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics and Maths from State Education Boards/Councils which are listed in COBSE with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in a vocational course (or in Intermediate/ Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course).

(b) Other Than Science Subjects:

Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any subject approved by Central / State Education Boards listed as a COBSE member with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

IAF Agnipath Recruitment 2022: Age Limit

Candidates born between 29 December 1999 and 29 June 2005 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.

Pay, Allowances, and Allied Benefits:

According to the official notification, AGNIVEER VAYU enrolled under this Scheme will be paid an AGNIVEER package of Rs 30,000/- per month with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, Risk and Hardship allowances (as applicable in IAF), Dress, and Travel allowances will be paid.

Indian Air Force Recruitment 2022: Selection Process

Candidates will be selected for the Indian Air Force Agneepath Recruitment 2022 after qualifying the following stages:

• Written Exam
• CASB
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
• Adaptability Test-I, and II
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination
