Ranbir Kapoor's Dragon will be first-of-its-kind superhero film: Alia Bhatt
Ayan Mukerji's superhero film with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt is one of Ranbir's most keenly awaited films. The movie, tentatively titled Dragon, will feature Ranbir Kapoor as a mythological superhero with powers to emit fire from his hand.
The film was initially slated to go on floors in mid-2015 and release along with Aamir Khan's Dangal this Christmas; however a delay in shooting Jagga Jasoos, Bombay Velvet and some other Ranbir Kapoor projects postponed the shoot of Dragon.

In an interview for promoting Kapoor and Sons, Alia Bhatt on being asked if she would be seen as a superwoman in the Ayan Mukerji directorial, said,

Ayan is a genius and he loves to create his own world. I just can't wait to start shooting for the film as I think it will be the first of its kind."
Alia also confirmed that the movie will go on floors by end of 2016. It will be produced by Karan Johar.
"I start shooting for the film by end of this year," said Alia.
Ayan Mukerji is planning a Dragon Trilogy, which will reportedly release over a span of 10 years.
