Flashback 2020: This film becomes the most tweeted Hindi film of the year

In just a few short weeks we will gladly say adieu to 2020, therefore, it’s a time to reminisce some good things that happened this year.

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film Dil Bechara has become the most tweeted about Hindi film this year and also topped the list. The news was announced by Twitter India itself.

Let us know more names of the Hindi film which have been listed in the most tweeted film of 2020.

Besides SSR’s Dil Bechara, the other films named in the list are Deepika Padukone’s Chhapaak, Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Taapsee Pannu’s Thaapad, and Janhvi Kapoor’s Gunjan Saxena.

1. Dil Bechara:

 

Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film has become the most Tweeted Hindi film of the year. The film also marked the Bollywood debut of Sanjana Sanghi. Dil Bechara was released on Disney+Hotstar. It was the remake of the Hollywood film, The Fault In Our Stars.

2. Chhapaak:


The film was based on a real-life incident. It was based on the life of acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal. The character of Laxmi was played by Deepika Padukone.

3. Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior:


Ajay Devgn played the lead role in the film. The movie was also highly appreciated on Twitter. 

4. Thappad:

 

The film sparked a lot of discussion on Twitter as it was based on a housewife, who got slapped by her husband. The film saw Taapsee Pannu in the lead role.

5. Gunjan Saxena:


It was the story of the Indian Air Force (IAF) officer and former lady helicopter pilot Gunjan Saxena. Actress Janhvi Kapoor played the role of Gunjan Saxena in the film. It was released on Netflix.

Due to the coronavirus, the big screen has been eliminated from the audience’s life and the masses have been shifted to the OTT platform. This is the reason why two films from the list of five most-tweeted Hindi films were released on OTT, i.e. Dil Bechara and Gunjan Saxena.
