Aquarium worker rubs belly of leopard shark; know what happens next

Internet is filled with various amusing animal videos. One such video of a Leopard shark and an aquarium worker has surfaced on the Internet. Reportedly, the video is said to be from New Caledonia’s Aquarium des Lagons in the New Caledonian city of Noumea.

The viral clip shows the aquarium keeper cleaning the glass when the Leopard shark approached him. Soon, the aquarium worker caught the shark and started rubbing its belly.

Interestingly, the marine animal can be seen enjoying the company of the aquarium keeper. The animal stayed for a while with the diver and then left to join with its other marine friends in an aquarium.

The video was shared on a YouTube channel named Aquariumdeslagons.

“The leopard shark of the big tank comes to interrupt the technician during his maintenance tasks ... for his little daily hug! [sic]” the video caption reads.

 

Meanwhile, the video has received 2,186,421 views on YouTube and has garnered 3k likes so far. The Internet also left amused after seeing the awdorable video of the Leopard shark and the aquarium keeper.

“The shark is smiling, like best day ever,” a user wrote. Another commented, “That is the first time I've ever thought of a shark as adorable.”

One of the users wrote, “So amazing! Changes my whole outlook on sharks and aquariums. You can tell that shark comes over just for his tummy rub, then leaves when he's had his fill.”
