Gianna's mother Roxie Washington told reporters, “I want justice for him because he was good, no matter what anybody thinks.”

Meanwhile, a violent protest erupted in the cities across the US after a video of George Floyd’s death surfaced the Internet, in which Minneapolis policeman pinned down him to the ground under his knee till he died.

Since the protest erupted, the policeman, David Chauvin, has been fired, arrested, and charged with murder, including three policemen who were with him.

After protests escalated into riots and looting, National Guards soldiers were deployed across the cities in the US, and curfew has also been imposed in various parts of US.

Even US President Donald Trump spent nearly an hour in an underground bunker at the White House after protestors gathered outside the mansion, AP reported.
